What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a technique in which vitamins, enzymes, hormones and plant extracts are applied by injection method to rejuvenate the skin, tighten it or remove excess oil.
Mesotherapy is a treatment method based on the application of products prepared in different combinations according to the required area, under the skin with small needles.
There are 4 main areas of application: pain mesotherapy, facial mesotherapy, scalp mesotherapy and cellulite mesotherapy.
Facial mesotherapy is a suitable method for all patients who want to stop aging and remove signs of aging. Mesotherapy, which is performed at certain periodic intervals, especially in people who are exposed to the sun and in smokers, significantly slows down the aging process.
- At the beginning of the mesotherapy application, after the skin is cleaned, anesthetic cream is applied to the patients and waited for 30 minutes. Afterwards, mixtures prepared according to the skin type are given to the lower part of the skin by means of small needles for mesotherapy. Mesotherapy can also be performed together with PRP treatment and gives very positive results.Small needle marks disappear completely within 24 hours. Make-up can be applied after the procedure.
In mesotherapy treatment, 4-6 sessions of treatment with an interval of approximately 1-2 weeks is considered a cure. It is recommended to be repeated every 3-6 months in order to maintain the vitality and well-being resulting from the treatment.
After the mesotherapy procedure, bruising can be seen in the application area. Allergy cases, albeit very rare, have been reported.
Another term encountered by those who do research on mesotherapy is mesolift. Considered among the most effective methods of facial rejuvenation, mesolift is another name given to facial mesotherapy.
